Indian coffee filters are made of pure, non-corrosive stainless
steel. An Indian Coffee filter is a two portion metal container,
the bottom portion is for collection and the top portion (with
a lid) is where the ground coffee and boiling water are placed.
A mushroom shaped filter is located within the top portion.
It's very easy to clean these filters and if properly maintained
these filters can last a lifetime. All the parts and containers
are dish washable and can also be very easily cleaned under
running water. Make sure that when you clean the top portion
of this filter, the filter holes in the container and the
mushroom shaped filter are not clogged with coffee grinds.
If they are, use a brush with long bristles under running
water to unclog these holes.
